SUMMARY
Generally,this story tell how Chitra was comparing her journey of life since her childhood until she has pregnant with the process of a mango before it ripe and can be eaten. At first, she was reminiscing about her childhood life that has always been aa hard life. Chitra came from a poor family. She remember about how in eight years ago, she has been tortured and hated by her mother-in-law just because she don't get pregnant and was accused barren although she has checked and the result show it has no problem with her. She also recalled about her two bestfriend that she can't contact to share her happiness about her pregnancy. Besides, she also remember how her husband,Prasad didn't protect her or utter any words in order to back up her wife. Instead, he just keep quiet although he seen how her wife were treated by his mother, Narayani amma. End of the story, Chitra was very thankful to be born a son of her. On his existance, she get the chance to led a happy life without been tortured by her mother-in-law.

In my opinion, it is fascinating how the elder word may come time. In this story, it is very interesting how Chitra's grandma havae he ability to predict that Chitra life is going to be suffer and Chitra was destined to live a hard leife along her life. So, Grandma word that she said to Chitra did come true to her life and grandma also have been through many things rather good nor bad. She seems so confident in saying those word to Chitra. It is also be a reminder to Chitra in getting throughout her life journey.

From this 'Mango moods' story, I would love to give my opinion on part of ending of the story. It is very touched and meaningful story I would say. I am very amazed on how Chitra had sufferes and how hard she survive. She is very strong women and she compare her life with mangoes. Chitra had gone through a painful life by her mother-in-law, Narayani amma. She deserve a better and comfortable life. She could not believe that for the past eight years, her mother-in-law had tortured her with cruel barbs for her barren worb. Suddently after she got pregnant, Narayani amma being smothered her with love and full attention.
I think they should move to their own house. They should build a strong relationship between themselves. Prasad have to be more responsible husband. They should lives by themselves and n need to have outsiders because it can lead to other problem.

Prasad is potrayed as a filial son. From the story, when Chitra's mother had made a suggestion to adopting a child, Narayani amma get mad and told she never accept any other child as her grandson. Prasad had just followed what her mum said. Besides, when Chitra been tortured and hated by her mother-in-law, Prasad started to spending more time at office to avoid any altercation. e have to protect his wife and have his own mind. He cannot simply take his mother side and follow every direction given. He need to think what is the best for his family.
